Today's WOAMTEC meeting
I am a member of WOAMTEC (Women On A Mission To Earn Commission). We meet every 2 weeks. This is an awesome networking group for Women. We meet during lunch and at each meeting the members get to do a 60 second infomercial about their business and one business gets to be the guest speaker. Today our Member / Speaker is with the American Red Cross. She did a great job sharing with us about our local chapter. Enjoyed 4th of July 2011
This has been a very peaceful and relaxing day. No time schedule, no work, a day to do whatever I want. You don't get to many days like this one. Enjoyed the morning at the lake watching Carter fish and enjoy the coolness of the day. Then decided to make Macaroni Salad and Chicken Salad. I had found a recipe for homemade Ice Cream so Carter and I have attempted to make it and we added fresh Georgia peaches to it. Now we just have to wait for it to freeze.
Spent the afternoon swimming at the lake. So nice and a great way to stay cool.
Will have to let you know how the homemade ice cream turns out.
Going to spend the rest of the evening relaxing and watching reruns of "Murder She Wrote".
